There’s no doubt that Ryan Reynolds is fine as hell – but it’s really unrealistic to want to create a duplicate version of his body for ourselves. Thanks to the diversity of human genetics, all of us come in different shapes, sizes and builds. It’s much wiser to focus our efforts on creating the healthiest, strongest version of ourselves.
Having said that, we can apply the science behind Ryan Reynolds’ workout to our own routines – and reap the rewards of some incredible results.

Was just curious, how well do these workouts work for women? For example, could I follow the same workout but at much lower weights(like 10 lbs) bc I don’t want to be huge but I want to be strong and I’m aiming more for losing weight as well as building muscle. Can I substitute dancing for sprinting? I have a bad knee and running hurts but dancing doesn’t.
I gave up a long time ago trying to duplicate other’s musculature. I may like the effect their workout has on their body, my body and genetics will only go so far. I can achieve the long lean look though dieting and extreme calorie burning cardio, but my lifestyle is miserable. I prefer a more toned hard body and that is what my workouts and diet are geared to achieve. I happy and my lovers are to.
lol arnold schwarzenegger when he was about 19 years old. now thats some muscle i think people would want to duplicate
Curious – I’ve read mixed things about dividing up body parts. I recently switched to a upper/lower split, after spending some time splitting up into three separate muscle groups (shoulders/legs, back/biceps, chest/triceps). Any opinions as to the most effective for different goals? The advantage here is that now I’m working one muscle group more than once a week, however, probably not as intensely as I was before. I’ve never tried doing five days of a muscle group a day like in this video, though.
If you want to lose weight, watch what you eat and get plenty of exercise. Simple as that. ☺ RYan looks good because he takes care of himself. Gorgeous.
Thanks for the post! I was wandering how was his routine, and also thanks for the encouraging words.
Do you know how is the Taylor Lautner routine?
